Zazen Biography
Formed in the early '80s by composer/producer Rama, keyboardist Steve Kaplan and guitarist Joaquin Lievano, Zazen blend elements of Eastern philosophy and mythology with a hybrid of jazz and new age. The trio has released a series of records on the Miramar label, among them 1994's Enlightenment, 1995's Canyons of Light and 1997's Cayman Blue. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
