Softlightes Biography

Softlightes

Springing fully formed from the smoldering indie pop remains of the Incredible Moses Leroy, the Softlightes came together in the fall of 2004. Moses mastermind Ron Fountenberry headed up the group and was joined by ex-Moses bassist Kristian Dunn, drummer Tim Fogarty, and pianist Andrew Van Baal. The Softlightes got to work on some recordings in Dunn's studio (aka his garage) in 2005, and their debut album, Say No! to Being Cool. Say Yes to Being Happy, was released the following year. ~ Margaret Reges, All Music Guide
