Peppermints Biography
The Peppermints' official history is a little spotty, jumbled amid chaotic websites, weird live gigs, their abrasive something-punk sound, and fluctuating membership. But it was known that the group began in the hinterlands of San Diego around 1997, and by 2000 were playing out and issuing singles. The Sweet Tooth Abortion LP appeared in 2003 through the Cali indie Pandacide, and was followed in 2005 by Jesus Chryst, which the Peppermints issued through the Animal Collective's Paw Tracks label. By that point the band's lineup included Lil, M-Ron (sometimes known as "M-Ron Hubbard"), and Grim. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
