Negative Reaction Biography

Negative Reaction

Since forming in the early 1990s East Northport, NY's aptly named Negative Reaction have helped cast a bit version of Southern-styled sludge and doom metal's murky shadow over the Gotham skyline. Founded and always commanded by vocalist/guitarist Ken E. Bones, who has worked with a regularly changing rhythm section over the years (in the early 2000s comprising bassist O.D. and drummer John McDonald), the band has issued several 7" singles and EPs to go with their four albums: 1996's Endofyorerror, 2000s The Orion Chronicles, 2003's Everything You Need for Galactic Battle Adventures, and 2006's Under the Ancient Penalty. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
