Finley Biography
Italian pop-punk quartet Finley formed in Legnano in May 2000. Singer Pedro and bassist Ste previously teamed in a local rock band before co-founding the group with guitarist Ka and drummer Dani, both alumni of a short-lived grunge outfit. Drawing influence from U.S. punk revival acts like Green Day and blink-182 -- roughly half of their subsequent songs would even boast English lyrics -- Finley issued its debut single, "Tutto è Possibile," in late 2005, quickly earning a fervent fan following. Their debut LP, also titled Tutto è Possibile, followed in 2006 and launched Finley to superstar status. That same year, they earned the MTV Europe Award for Best Italian Artist. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
