Facebreaker Biography
Hailing from Finspång, Sweden, death metal band Facebreaker was formed in 2001 by vocalist Robert Karlsson (ex-Pan-Thy-Monium and Edge of Sanity), guitarists Janne Ivarsson and Mika Lagren, bassist Jonas Magnusson, and drummer Mikael Wassholm. A nostalgic throwback to Scandinavia's pure death metal of the early-'90s (think Carnage, Entombed, etc.), the band's debut album, Bloodred Hell, was recorded at famed Black Lounge Studios in the summer of 2003, and issued by Rage of Achilles Records early the following year. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide
