El Gant Biography

El Gant

To more than a few people, El Gant was a New York City newcomer in 2001 who seemed to just show up -- bringing his skills with him. This is probably due to the fact that it was just 2000 when he graduated from university in Albany, NY, and garnered some attention for his intelligent, witty, and extremely fast delivery. Signed to We Eatz Entertainment, he has proven his skills four times as MC battle champion of the Direct Effect MTV show. His first album was released in 2001, called It's Over. ~ Brad Mills, All Music Guide
