Crucified Biography
Not to be confused with a contemporary death metal band from Sweden, America's Crucified was a Christian thrashcore band based in Fresno, CA. Formed in the mid-'80s by vocalist Mark Saloman, guitarist Greg Minier, bassist Jeff Bellew, and drummer Jim Chaffin, they recorded a couple of albums, 1988's The Crucified and 1991's The Pillars of Humanity, before splitting due to widespread indifference. A third released entitled Nailed eventually emerged in 1994, but rather than showcase new material, it consisted of repackaged early demos, and didn't translate into an actual re-formation. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
